Claudette Monsier

As an experienced executive with a track record of transforming business operations, Claudette Monsier brings three decades of underwriting and risk management expertise to her role as Head of Delegated Business at MSIG USA. She is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of delegated business within the company, ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, and strategic growth.

Before joining MSIG USA, Claudette held leadership positions at Arch Insurance Group, where she led the Contract Binding Operations unit, focusing on portfolio management through data analytics, portfolio diversification, and improved distribution management processes. Before assuming leadership of the CBO unit she had management responsibility for Arch’s U.S. SOX and ERM units, and Global UW Operations. Before joining Arch, Claudette was responsible for post-acquisition portfolio management globally, including providing risk management advice to private equity firms and their portfolio companies as part of Marsh’s Private Equity Mergers and Acquisitions group. Most recently, she served as the Divisional CUO for Primary U.S. Casualty at Everest Insurance. Claudette holds a Master’s of Professional Studies in Insurance Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Organization Dynamics from Immaculata University. She also has the professional designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Risk Management.
